Back to Build has been an MRA tradition, featuring Famous Dave’s for dinner, time to catch up with robotics folks who know your pain, and a chance to hear from some ‘insiders’. We can’t host a dinner this season, but we are planning a gathering on Zoom to catch up and share insights.
We’ve invited referees, a judge advisor and FTA/CSAs to share their thoughts 10 days into the official build. We will have a facilitator for Q&A, and maybe some breakout sessions for chats.
Bring your own food and beverage, and settle in with us.
Sign up here to be placed on the list. Look for a meeting link a few days before.
Good news: This event is FREE
And all are welcome! Our focus will be on FIRST Chesapeake District events, and our members have been generally from central Maryland. Going virtual helps us welcome mentors from all over MD, DC and VA to this event.
Of course, we would love more MRA members willing to help put on the Battle O’ Baltimore, Education Day (Fall 2022) and Back to Build Dinners in future. Look for ways to participate on our website.

We are excited to announce that the MRA events team is working on bringing back the Battle O’ Baltimore for 2021!
We are currently in the process of securing a venue and firming up dates. The plan is to hold it sometime in late September or early October.
So watch this space, and check the BOB website for updates!
It’s been a while since we’ve posted here and we have missed you all!
We hope everyone had a great 2020 season despite all the changes and uncertainty.
Unfortunately that doesn’t look like it’s going to end anytime soon but your MRA is still busy trying to support teams as best we can.
Having said that, we will be hosting a Virtual Back-To-Build event on January 26th from
7pm – 9pm.
Best of luck to everyone with the 2021 FIRST challenges!
The MRA will be holding it’s annual Back To Build dinner and forum on January 13, 2020 from 6 – 9 PM at the USRA Conference Center.

Hope to see you there!
